TEMMINC® began in 1936, founded by a visionary tailor with a dedication to refined business clothing and handcrafted neckwear. The brand passed from father to son, and then to a third generation. Across changing decades, the family remained committed to the same principles: quality materials, thoughtful construction, and enduring business elegance. Every suit and every tie represented more than a product—it carried the care and pride of a family craft.

How Our Stories Became One

Our relationship with TEMMINC reaches back to the earliest years of our own business, when we were still a small family workshop. The TEMMINC family entrusted us with custom necktie orders more than two decades before DQ GROUP INC. was established, and that relationship continued as DQ GROUP INC. grew over the past 26 years.

When the third-generation steward of TEMMINC, then approaching 90 years of age, began planning for succession and the next generation chose a different path, the brand faced the possibility of disappearing. Because our relationship had been built through decades of direct work and mutual trust, he formally transferred the TEMMINC trademark to us.

We did not see this as simply a business transaction. We saw it as a responsibility: to protect a name we had known for decades and to carry its story forward with respect.

A Heritage Renewed

Today, we are continuing and renewing TEMMINC for a new generation. We honor the standards and values that shaped the brand while bringing them into modern custom programs, a broader range of products, and a more accessible digital experience.

TEMMINC is now our primary brand for custom products and business partnerships. WAMSOFT remains our specialized cashmere and wool scarf brand within the TEMMINC family, bringing focused textile expertise to our custom capabilities.
